Shane MacGowan

A commentator said that he prefers the style of Shane MacGowan. I understand your point ... he is typical of a 'modern British' gent ... but you might benefit from asking your doctor to increase the dose.

    Well, I didn't mention him first but we do need to be reminded of how things might become. He is the lead singer in a famous - and tremendously successful - modern band! His influence is considerable and it might be that generations yet unborn will see him as a tmeplate for lifestyle. It is my hope that seeing him set up against (and against - as well as outwith - he is), my own pantheon of style icons, might be a small influence and counter-measure. That is the only reaon that he is here. But let him stay - and recover.
