There'll be blue skies over...

The Naked Ape nearly became political by turning into a crimson-faced old buffer, letting off steam over the state of Britain. Fortunately, the belting sea-borne rain of a few minutes ago has passed away and is now over the mountains on the north horizon and the sky has returned to that shade of blue which beckons for a calming walk. Moreover, as someone remarked to me recently, over an outburst concerning the state of the nation: "But you live in Brazil!" This is true and, quite frankly, part of the reason that I do live here is the state to which Britain has been reduced by successive generations of 'no-mark' political leaders and foundering, greedy, moronic bankers and estate agents. Now it is definitely time for that walk...

Today's picture is of the lagoon in the Sleepy Hollow.
