1996 is said, by many, to be the best vintage of Champagne since 1926 and, if you were about to open a bottle, you would neither spill it nor let it go flat, would you? Is life not precious too? There is much (maybe too much), written about the fine details of dressing but let not those who get involved in all that forget that we should dress to live and find activity in every waking moment, as well as drinking the occasional bottle of The Widow 1996.
