THE NAKED APE GETS DRESSED. For those who strive for better things and who understand, as did Ben Jonson, that: "the pipe marks the point at which the orang-utan ends and man begins". - And those who understand S T Coleridge's: "While Fate tramples on things of beauty, the indignant human heart shall utter them."
Fantastic news!
ReplyDeleteThanks. There have been one or two reprints already but this is the first time that I have been allowed to make any corrections and improvements. I had to smile recently as I noticed that a new reader review had appeared on the amazon.co.uk site and it showed that he had completely missed the fun and had spent quite a while producing a bile-filled blast against proper toppers and tailcoats. It made me reflect favourably upon my decision to turn the Storey-mobile off the 'i-way'; where such geeks lurk in their keyboards, after the fashion of old-fashioned perverts, who used to lurk in the bushes, waiting to flash their short-comings (nod to David Niven's commentary) at total strangers.
